If you want to experience the thrill of moose hunting in Ontario’s remote wilderness, Uchi Lake is for you! Most of our moose are larger than average because of how limited the hunting pressure is.
The moose hunting packages we offer are highly exclusive to a select number of hunters – usually only 2 groups per season.
This is our camp rule and it helps maintain a very high population of big moose in our area. Our limited number of hunters per season also attributes to our high success rates, which many years is over 80%.
We offer guided or unguided hunts for archery and rifle season.

CHOOSE FROM 4 MOOSE HUNTING PACKAGES
UCHI LAKE MOOSE HUNT PRICING
Guided hunting packages can be arranged for both Housekeeping or American Plans depending on your group’s preferences. We offer both archery and rifle hunts, and recommend calling Shayne to discuss your options.
We hunt WMU units 4 and 16A and have a select number of bull, cow, and calf tags available – call before they are gone!
(MNR moose license, tag and export permits not included with any hunting package).
HUNTING PACKAGE #1: MOST POPULAR
A group of hunters (minimum 4) sharing 1 bull, 1 cow, and 1 calf tag as a semi-guided hunt at our remote location. This is a 7 day Housekeeping package that includes Sherp transportation to & from the lodge, a warm cabin with wood stove, all cooking equipment, linens and towels, 16′ Lund boat and 15 HP motor per 2 guests, with TV and internet in the main lodge.
Enjoy the camaraderie of your hunting buddies at our exclusive lodge where you can fish and hunt the 12 mile long Uchi Lake and surrounding area without seeing any other hunters. You’ll also have access to canoes and kayaks at our portage lakes with guide tips on hotspots in the area.
This package is $3,895 USD per person, with better rates for groups of 6 or more. Call to discuss your options.
HUNTING PACKAGE #2: ALL-INCLUSIVE 7 DAYS
This is a fully guided hunt for 2 hunters as an American Plan 7 day package. Includes Sherp transportation to & from the lodge, all meals and accommodations, assistance with tracking, field dressing, quartering, and retrieval of your moose.
Also includes the use of 16′ Lund boat and 15 HP motor for fishing world-class walleye and pike when you’re not hunting. This is the complete package, just bring your hunting gear!
This package is $5,995 USD per person.
HUNTING PACKAGE #3: SELF-GUIDED
This is a self-guided hunt with 1 cow and 1 calf tag. For nearly the same price as a fishing trip, enjoy fishing and hunting with a 7 day American Plan adventure. Includes Sherp to & from lodge, all meals and accommodations, 16′ Lund boat and 15 HP motor with unlimited fuel.
This package is $2,995 USD per person (minimum 2).
HUNTING PACKAGE #4: ONTARIO RESIDENTS
Ontario residents with their own tags for WMU 4 and 16a are invited to join us for a semi-guided hunt, same details as Package #1. Includes Sherp to & from lodge, accommodations, cooking equipment, and linens. Exclusive hunting areas with boats and motors, canoes, and kayaks already strategically placed in prime locations where you will not see any other hunters.
This package is $2,995 USD per person. Call to discuss!
CABINS & ACCOMMODATIONS
We have 7 main cabins for guests and can accommodate groups as small as 2 or as large as 34. To ensure a good night’s rest, we have posturepedic mattresses with fresh linens and bedding supplied.
New in 2020 we added 3 piece washrooms with hot and cold running water, showers and flush toilets to each and every cabin. Starlink internet allows for phone calls and many movie and sports game options in our main lodge. There is electricity 24/7 with our generator and brand new solar system. All cabins have wood stoves and firewood is topped up daily.
