Uchi Lake Lodge (sounds like OOCHEE) is a remote pike & walleye fishing lodge in Ontario – just a 5-hour drive north of the Minnesota/Ontario border – with comfortable lodging amenities, high-end service, and an extraordinary fishing experience.
You can catch hundreds of fish without the need of a guide. Quality fish, too. The one’s you go home bragging to your buddies about until they finally cave and make the return trip with you! Walleye and northern pike are found everywhere in the lake, with great spots within minutes of the lodge so there’s no need to burn time boating across the lake (unless you want to explore new water of course!). And best of all, the lake is sheltered with plenty of coves, points, and shorelines so you can be out fishing even on bad weather days.
80-100 walleye per boat per day is the norm, 3-5 lb average.

GETTING HERE: CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE
You have a couple of options for getting to Uchi Lake Lodge. You can drive almost the entire way to the lodge and take a 5.5 mile 4×4 ride on our Sherp “monster truck” of an ATV, or drive to Onaway Lodge near Ear Falls, Ontario and take a floatplane for an aerial experience seen by few. See details for both options depending on the best fit for your group.

After hearing about Uchi Lake Lodge walleye fishing from my brother for many years, I was finally able to make it up here. What a great walleye lake! Yesterday we boated about 75 walleyes down near the Uchi River. Many of these walleyes were over 20” with a few of them over 26”. One thing I’ve noticed this week over other walleye lakes that I’ve fished, is that the Uchi walleyes seem to be much heavier for their respective lengths. Many of them look like footballs and fight like hell! You have to try this lake!
